CREDIT MANAGER

Position Information
Are you ready to work in a high-energy technology company that requires you to have excellent attention to details? Plasco, Inc. is seeking a full-time credit manager to join our Miami office. The credit manager is responsible for the overall management of the credit department, which includes credit granting and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the consistent application of the corporate credit policy
  • Assess the creditworthiness of potential customers and existing customers
  • Periodic credit reviews of existing customers
  • Evaluate releasing orders of customers with past due balances and/or over credit limit
  • Analyze accounts receivable aging reports for delinquent accounts and monitor the percentage of aged accounts.
  • Resolve credit issues with customers
  • Determine collectability of delinquent accounts ensuring maximum efforts have been taken before assigning bad credit status
  • Provide regular updates of receivables to senior management
  • Continually initiate process improvement and quality reviews to simplify processes, improve productivity and adjust to demands of a growing customer database.
  • High level of interaction with members of the Accounting Department, ability to distribute tasks, make follow up, analyze results and take actions accordingly in a result driven environment.

Position Requirements

  • A minimum 5 years experience in credit and collections
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Understanding of credit reporting agencies such as DNB
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage relationships both internally and externally
  • Strong problem solving and customer service skills
  • Detail oriented and willing to work in fast paced environment
  • Supervisory experience preferred

FRONT-END WEB DEVELOPER
Plasco, Inc. is seeking a full-time Front-end Web Developer to join our Minneapolis marketing team. The Front-End Web Developer will work with our team of developers and marketers to continually improve UI/UX of our existing web properties and play a key role in the development of new web properties. Required Experience and Skills:

  • Efficiently building pixel-perfect websites from mock-up and/or wireframes

  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO, Webmaster Tools, and GA
